Atrevida Brewery was born from a bold idea and a tamarind candy. Jessica’s journey into brewing started with an unexpected twist: a national beer competition. She entered with a recipe inspired by her grandmother’s cherished tamarind candy—tangy, sweet, and full of soul—and that brew didn’t just turn heads, it took home the top prize. But the seeds of Atrevida were planted long before the trophy. Jessica’s love affair with beer began while traveling through Germany, where she discovered the craft, culture, and community that beer could create. She returned home inspired, determined to blend her heritage, her experiences, and her daring creativity into every pour.
Atrevida, meaning "bold" or "daring"
in Spanish, is more than a name —
it’s a mission.
We’re proud to be the first Latin-owned, woman-led brewery in our city, and we brew with the belief that diversity is on tap. Whether it’s in our flavors, our stories, or the people who walk through our doors, Atrevida is an inclusive space where everyone is welcome, and every voice matters.
Here, every pint has a purpose — and every pour tells a story.
